How does PathView Cloud work?

PathView Cloud works by using a small application called a sequencer that sends and recieves precisely timed sequences of packets. The sequencer monitors the performance of the network paths you define through the PathView Cloud website, and securely uploads performance metrics to the PathView Cloud servers.

Paid PathView Cloud accounts include the PathView microAppliance which is a small, zero administration device that contains all the hardware and software needed to test and monitor your network.

Is PathView Cloud safe?

Absolutely, PathView Cloud does not work like network traffic sniffers or SNMP monitoring tools, so information about your computer systems or the data on your network is ever monitored.
